Here is a basic overview on 4 various camera straps that can work with DSLR cameras.

This video shows a solution for BlackRapid camera strap owners who are having quite a bit of a dilemma with switching their DSLR from a BlackRapid camera strap to a tripod. That’s because the BlackRapid attaches to the DSLR tripod access (bottom of the camera), therefore restricting the ability to have a tripod quick release plate attached to it at the same time. Problem solved using a Cotton Carrier Universal Quick Release Plate.

We designed the C-Loop in response to how the traditional top mounted camera strap always gets in the way. By relocating the mounting position to the bottom of the camera and integrating a swivel, we discovered numerous benefits that improved the shooting experience when using a camera strap. C-Loop Features : * Eliminate Strap Interference: Quicker access, flexibility and improved handling. * Smooth Rotation: The C-Loop swivels 360° degrees to reduce tangling and for smooth panning * Low Profile: Makes it easier to transition from landscape to portrait shots * Increased Security: Lens comfortably tucks away making mobility easy in tight or crowded areas * Compatibility: Works with existing camera straps and all devices with a tripod mount Purchase from: Custom SLR (C-Loop) – www.customslr.com Amazon (C-Loop) – www.amazon.com Custom SLR (Camera Split Strap) – www.customslr.com Amazon (Camera Split Strap) – www.amazon.com Custom SLR (Glide Split Strap) – www.customslr.com Amazon (Glide Split Strap) – www.amazon.com

Regular neck straps are convenient and secure, but aren’t comfortable all day. Slings are comfortable and fast, but sacrifice stability which can result in your camera bouncing about. As we watched photographers use straps and slings—including our own—we wondered if we could reset the balance of stability and comfort by introducing flexibility and versatility into the equation. We went to the drawing board with one goal: Make a camera strap that lets you easily change how you carry your camera on-the-fly. Make one that allows you to snug your camera against your back so that you can move actively without it bouncing about, then easily transition to letting it comfortably rest at your side, ready to slide up to your eye in an instant. A strap that you can hang around your neck for a couple of minutes while you change lenses and which can hug your camera to your chest while sitting down. And to do all that while using proven connections that are compatible with tripod quick release plates. The result is Cinch. It’s like no other strap out there. Comfort Cinch features is a soft, stretchy and strong neoprene shoulder pad. Our unique CZZ (Center ZigZag) construction allows Cinch to conform to any curve and distribute weight. Other shoulder pads attain comfort by being curved around a specific portion of your body; Cinch’s

www.berger-bros.com All camera straps are the same…right? WRONG! Most camera straps hang on both sides of your neck which can present a problem for those with back and/or neck problems. Black Rapid Camera Straps, however, are designed to alleviate back and neck problems by placing the strap to one side only. In addition the straps places the camera slightly behind you so that your camera is out of the way and protected from damage by your body. This is great if you’re shooting little children or you’re at a busy event and you need both hands free.
